Take her down, cap'n
Frontier Developments have confirmed that the Horizons expansion for Elite Dangerous will be coming to Xbox One in the second quarter of 2016.
Elite Dangerous: Horizons includes planetary landings, loot, crafting, multicrew co-operative play, and more.
The Xbox One version will contain the 2.0: Planetary Landings and 2.1: The Engineers expansions from the PC edition of the game. Players will be able to journey seamlessly from space to surface and land wherever they like on planets and moons, roaming around in the SRV Surface Recon Vehicle.
Elite Dangerous: Horizons will be a paid-for expansion, though pricing has yet to be confirmed. Those who buy the expansion will receive further updates as the season continues, with gameplay updates arriving on PC and Xbox One simultaneously.
Elite Dangerous: Horizons will launch by the end of June. We'll bring you a locked-in date and price as soon as they're announced.
