Titanfall 2 will release between October-December 2016, EA has confirmed.
The release window puts the shooter in direct competition with rivals Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, as well as EA's own Battlefield 1. A more precise release date has yet to be announced.
The window was confirmed as part of EA's latest financial report, and follows earlier rumours that the game is due to launch this year.
Earlier this year, toy manufacturer McFarlane revealed that Titanfall 2 is due to launch this winter alongside a new toy range. Then, following its announcement, UK retailer GAME listed the game for release in 2016.
Battlefield 1 launches on October 21, with Infinite Warfare and Modern Warfare Remastered following up two weeks later on November 4. It isn't yet clear where Titanfall 2 will slot in.
But what do you think? Is EA making a mistake by releasing Titanfall 2 at the same time as three other major first-person shooters? Let us know in the comments.
