Rainbow Six Siege's second DLC, Operation Dust Line, is to release during the week of May 9, Ubisoft has announced.
The new DLC introduces two brand new Navy SEAL Operators: Valkyrie, a defense operator that has access to deployable sticky cameras; and Blackbeard, an attacker that comes equipped with a rifle and shield. You can check out what the two of them look like in the image above.
The Operators will be available first to Season Pass holders, with a release following to all other players 7 days later. The characters will be available to unlock for free to all players, although non-Season Pass owners will need to spend 25,000 Renown to unlock each one. Alternatively, they can purchase instant access to them via an in-game microtransaction.
A brand new map is also expected to be included with Operation Dust Line, although Ubisoft has yet to reveal any details on what it may be. The publisher does, however, tell fans to tune into the Rainbow Six Pro League PC Finals on May 7 to learn more about the new Operators and "the rest of the content coming in Dust Line".
Whatever the map may be, though, expect it to be available to all players free of charge.
