I ain't afraid of no glitches
BANDAI NAMCO have confirmed that they'll release Pac-man 256 on Xbox One on June 21st.
The release of the game was all but confirmed last month after a ratings board listed it as being on the way, but the publisher has locked in the date and released some new information.
On Xbox One, Pac-man 256 will contain ten unlockable themes, as well as the ability to play with up to four friends in local co-op multiplayer. The idea in multiplayer is that you'll all have to work together to eat all the dots and power pellets to clear the screen, all while avoiding Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Clyde, and taking advantage of power-ups.
We wanted everyone to enjoy PAC-MAN 256, so it was a logical decision to make it available on PS4, Xbox One and PC. The brand new local multiplayer mode, exclusive to the console and PC versions, makes it even more accessible: get ready for maximum fun playing up to 4 players at the same time!
An announcement trailer has been made available, too.
Pac-man 256 will launch on Xbox One on June 21st, with pricing to be confirmed.
