Xbox One Version of There Came An Echo Canned

No Wheaton for us

Iridium Studios have confirmed that their Kickstarter-funded Kinect-enabled strategy game There Came An Echo will now not be coming to Xbox One.

Originally announced for multiple platforms back in 2014, the game - which is a voice-controlled stategy title starring Wil Wheaton, Ashley Burch, and Laura Bailey - will be launching on PlayStation 4 next week, but that the Xbox One edition has been canned.

In a message for Kickstarter backers, the studio stated that they ran into issues when it came to porting the game from PC - where it received lackluster reviews - and decided to forge ahead with the PlayStation 4 version instead.
