Head of Communications for Remedy Entertainment is planning on creating more games and getting them out more often.
Thomas Puha, Head of Communications for Remedy Entertainment, just came out with an update on what's next for the studio. Remedy released Quantum Break two months ago and became the "biggest-selling new Microsoft Studios published IP this generation". This raised the bar for Remedy and Thomas Puha is looking forward.
They are planning on creating more games and getting them out more often. They have already split into two teams for game development. They have been "developing a brand new Remedy game with a new partner." Which will help spread brand awareness of Remedy Entertainment through another platform.
However, we may not be seeing or hearing any more specific news than this because he explicitly said "don’t expect us take the stage at E3 or gamescom this year". His reasoning for this is that it's too early to reveal anything just yet.
All we know right now is that Alan Wake will not be in the two projects they are currently working on.
What platform do you think Remedy is working with? Any announcements you expect them to make in the future? Let me know in the comments!
