PES 2015 servers to shut down in August - PES 2015 for PS4 News

PES 2015's online servers are to be shut down on August 25, Konami has announced.

Following that date, the game's online multiplayer functionality will be permanently unavailable and all myClub coins and GP "will be invalidated". Konami advises that players spend any remaining coins/GP they have prior to the servers closing.

"The online service for Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 will be terminated on 25/08/2016 4:00 (UTC)," says an update written on Konami's website. "We would like to thank you for your loyal support.

"Please note that all of your myClub coins or GP within the game will be invalidated at the same time as the termination of Online service. If you still have left myClub coins or GP, please spend them until the termination of Online service.

"We would also like to thank you for your continued support of the PES series titles."

MyClub coins are used to sign players and managers in the game's myClub mode, and could be earned in-game or purchased separately via microtransactions.

The server closures come ahead of the launch of this year's game, PES 2017, which is due to go on sale this autumn. PES 2015 launched just 20 months ago in November 2014.
