EA is reportedly so excited about their press conference this year, and so keen to "celebrate the global gaming community" that it has chosen to donate $1 million (that's US dollars) to five different charities in a initiative called Play to Give.
The charities, which EA feels are "fostering a better world", are Code.org, Code2040, HeForShe, the National Centrer for Women and Information Technology, and Special Effect.
Starting today you can also find some challenges that tie into this in some of EA's more famous titles: Battlefield 4, Battlefield Hardline, Star Wars Battlefront, Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes, FIFA, and Madden will all have them. By completing them you can in-game rewards (although your participation will not change the donation EA are making).
Full details can be found at the Play To Give site.
